A missing Centurion teenager, the 17-year-old Njabulo Yose, was killed in an accident.

Njabulo from Voortrekkerhoogte in Centurion left seen when he left school on 13 March.

Reports on social media said it is believed he was involved in a motor vehicle accident on 13 March 2024. His family found him at a government mortuary on Wednesday.

According to his mother, Phindiwe, she last saw her 17-year-old son when he left for school that morning.

“It was a normal day in our household. During the day, his school phoned and told me that Njabulo got into trouble at school and was sent home.”

Phindiwe said she went home and waited for him to return from school, but he never did.

She added that this was not normal behaviour for Njabulo, who is in Grade.
