Man missing for three months, family calls in the public’s help

The search for a Mamelodi man residing in Riverside next to Stoffel Park in Mamelodi East continues.

The family of a missing Mamelodi East man pleads with him to come back home.

Thabang Mickson Ngaledzani Munyai (30) of Riverside near Stoffel Park was reported missing by his family three months ago.

His mother, Lydia Munyai, who reported him missing, said she last saw her son on April 5.

She said she and her son had supper at her home then he left saying he was returning to his home in Riverside.

Munyai said life is not the same without him at home, and his siblings are missing him.

She described him as a person who has anger issues, but on the day of his disappearance, he was fine.

Thabang Mickson Ngaledzani Munyai went missing on April 5.

Munyai said she has not heard from him since they had supper.

Police spokesperson, Constable Penelope Khulong, said the mother opened a missing person case three weeks after she had been to his home to look for him to no avail.

Khulong said the mother reported that she had further inquired from his neighbours and friends, but none knew his whereabouts.

Khulong said police could not get a description of the clothes he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

She added that there is no waiting period to report a person missing.

Alternatively, people can send information via the MySAPS app.
