The winning ticket was purchased in Pretoria at a Pick n Pay, according to ITHUBA, the proud operator of the National Lottery.

The South African National Lottery is searching for an individual who struck luck and won the second largest pot in the R100-million Lotto Jackpot.

The winning ticket was purchased in Pretoria at Hazeldean Square, according to Ithuba, the proud operator of the National Lottery.

In a statement, the National Lottery said it was thrilled to announce that the R100-million guaranteed Lotto jackpot held on August 3, was won by one lucky participant.

“The search has narrowed down as Ithuba has now confirmed that the winning ticket was purchased at a Pick n Pay store in Gauteng.

“We are calling on all Gauteng participants to check their tickets and see if they hold the winning ticket,” said Charmaine Mabuza, the CEO of Ithuba.

“This monumental win marks the second-largest jackpot in the history of Lotto. We are overjoyed and can’t wait to meet the lucky winner. We urge everyone who bought their tickets at Pick n Pay stores in Gauteng to check their tickets immediately.”
