Centurion man nabbed for drug possession
The suspect was arrested on Monday after police and K9 members acted on a tip-off about suspicions about a drug dealer in the area.
A 39-year-old is set to appear in court after being arrested for possession of drugs in Eldoraigne, Centurion, on October 22.
Tshwane metro police spokesperson Isaac Mahamba said police and K9 members acted on a tip-off about a suspected drug dealer in the area.
He said police managed to locate the 39-year-old suspect.
“The suspect was found in possession of drugs known as Cat and crystal meth.”
Mahamba said further investigations led police to the suspect’s residence, where they found additional drugs.

“The suspect was then arrested for dealing in and being in possession of drugs.”
He said the seized drugs have an estimated street value of R25 000.
Mahamba stressed that drugs have a devastating impact on communities.
He urged residents to report any suspicious activities, particularly drug-related offences, to the SAPS or TMPD directly on 012 358 7095/7096.
