Wonderboom air show thrills crowds with aerial acrobatics
The Wonderboom National Airport hosted its annual air show showcasing the skills of South Africa's top pilots and aircraft.
Aircraft enthusiasts came in their numbers to witness spectacular aerial displays hosted by the Wonderboom National Airport on Saturday.
The annual air show showcased the skills of South Africa’s top pilots and aircraft.

It featured skydivers, car recoveries, radio control displays, the SAP task force the Goodyear Eagles, Harvard and Puma flight displays, an Airlink fly-by, a North American formation display and demonstrations from the South African Airforce.
Lucky ticket winners, mother-and-daughter duo, Olivia and Colette van Bürick, were among the thrilled attendees.
“The fun part about the show is the fact that the crowd was allowed to interact with pilots,” said mum, Colette Van Bürick.
She added that the runway was nearby, so they were able to see the aerial stunts and formations up close.
“Olivia has always dreamed of becoming a pilot, and this experience has only fuelled her passion.”
