Vehicle hijacked in Sosh, recovered in Atteridgeville
A 45-year-old suspect was also found with tablets and is facing charges of dealing in drugs.
The Tshwane Flying Squad arrested a 45-year-old suspect and recovered a stolen vehicle in Atteridgeville on October 31.
According to police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, the vehicle recovered in Atteridgeville had been reported hijacked in Soshanguve.
She said the members intercepted the suspicious red Kia, which led to the arrest of the suspect.
“He was found in possession of one pack of 1 000 tablets which was later seized.
“The suspect is now facing charges of dealing in drugs,” said Nevhuhulwi.
She said the vehicle was taken to Pretoria West pound for safekeeping.
The suspect is expected to appear in court soon.
