Man arrested in Cullinan for possession of drugs, ammo
The police responded to an anonymous call, reporting a certain house, which was allegedly full of drugs.
Police in Cullinan arrested a 46-year-old man in possession of ammunition and drugs on Saturday.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Connie Moganedi said the suspect was arrested following a tip-off received from the public.
She said police conducted an intelligence-driven operation that led to the recovery of different drugs and different ammunition.
“Police responded to an anonymous call, reporting a certain house, which was allegedly full of drugs.”

On their arrival, police found the suspect inside the house in Refilwe with different kinds of drugs and in possession of ammunition.
Moganedi said police found dagga, nyaope, and heroin at the suspect’s house.
Police could not give the street values of the drugs found at the house, nor were the firearms belonging to the ammunition.
The police are continuing with the investigations, and the suspect is expected to appear soon at Cullinan Magistrate’s Court facing the charges of illegal possession of drugs and ammunition.
