Help police find missing Moot teenager
The 13-year-old went missing six months ago on his way to school
A desperate search is underway for 13-year-old Marcel Kruger, who vanished in the Moot on May 17.
Kruger was reported missing on May 17 and to date has not been found.
Police spokesperson Johan Van Dyk confirmed that Kruger, a resident of Jacaranda Foster Care, has not been found yet.
Van Dyk said that investigations were ongoing to track him.
“Police are also working with social workers to try find Kruger.”
According to spokesperson for Unchain Our Children, Carina Bam, Kruger was last seen leaving his place of safety en route to school.
Bam said he allegedly was picked up by an unknown person driving a white vehicle.
“Unfortunately, we don’t have the vehicle’s model or the identity of the person who picked him up,” Bam stated.
Kruger is described as a slender-built male, 1.67m tall, weighing 55kg, with blond hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing grey school trousers, a grey school shirt, and black school shoes.
“It is suspected that he might be in the Krugersdorp area,” she said.
“We are actively looking for him, and anyone with information should come forward.”
