If you are in for a taste of biltong and enjoy sipping the finest local brews, Lavender Kontrei Mark was the place to be on Saturday.

The market in Wonderboom was packed with amazing brews, tasty treats, and unbeatable vibes as the market held the annual Bier and Biltong Festival.

Lana Roux from the market said that the festival had various craft breweries and mouthwatering biltong and snacks – including old-school fudge, coated marshmallows, Dofills, Jogurt Cheese and many more!

She said live entertainment during the day by the popular Velvet Oompah Band.

“The event was a success as we had a beer pong Competition, and participants claimed their prizes at the beer Tent,” said Roux.

The festival had stalls selling delicious Foods, unique Crafts and fresh products, and fun activities for kids like target shooting, go-karts, waterslides, tractor rides and more.

Lavender Kontrei Mark is a family-oriented market that offers a variety of arts, crafts, and food stalls with great entertainment for the day.
