The beloved Crafters Fair Winter Market returned to the Moreleta Church in Moreleta Park this year, running from June 25 to July 5 — and once again, it didn’t disappoint.
With just an R10 entry fee, visitors received a hand stamp, grabbed a basket or trolley, and entered a thoughtfully laid-out shopping experience.
From start to finish, the market offered a delightful maze of locally made goods, perfect for winter browsing and early festive finds.
From handcrafted leather goods, jewellery, and quirky novelty items to ceramics, perfumes, organic lotions, and pet accessories, shoppers could explore an impressive variety of offerings.
There were also plants, craft supplies, and a wide selection of homemade remedies — making the experience feel more like a curated exhibition than a typical market.
However, the homemade biscuit stall, which was as dramatic as it was irresistible, stood out above all the other stalls, with rows of golden-baked treats drawing visitors in and setting the tone for a market filled with artisanal charm.
Hosted by the Crafters Fair team, this pop-up market has become a local fixture, taking place twice a year at the same venue — once in winter and again over the Christmas season.
