Hot weekend expected for Pretoria

Pretoria residents can expect a hot and mostly sunny weekend, with temperatures climbing into the low 30s and little chance of rain.

Pretoria residents are in for a hot and largely dry weekend, with temperatures set to climb into the low 30s under mostly sunny skies and a minimal chance of rain.

According to SA Weather Services (SAWS), Pretoria is expected to see hazy sunshine, with a warm afternoon high of around 29°C after a cooler start of about 16 °C.

The dry pattern is set to continue into Sunday, 5 April, with hazy, very warm conditions and temperatures climbing to about 31°C, again after an early low near 16°C.

VoxWeather forecaster Michelle du Plessis said overall, the weekend forecast points to hot, settled weather with no significant rain in sight.
