Pedestrian killed, six injured in horrific Montana accident

A pedestrian died and six people were injured after two vehicles collided and struck four people standing beside a road in Montana.

A pedestrian was killed and six people were injured in a collision at the intersection of Sefako Makgatho Drive and Dr Swanepoel Road in Montana on Sunday evening, September 27.

According to Medi Edge Emergency Medical Services, two vehicles collided at about 20:30 before striking four pedestrians standing next to the road.

One pedestrian died, while two sustained life-threatening injuries. A fourth pedestrian and three vehicle occupants were seriously injured.

Emergency medical teams treated the injured at the scene before transporting them to nearby hospitals.

The scene was handed over to police for investigation.
