Motorcyclist seriously injured in east crash
The 55-year-old was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
A man believed to be 55 years old sustained critical injuries during a collision with a light motor vehicle on Thursday night.
The collision happened at about 23:00 on Boeing Street in Elardus Park, Pretoria east.
Emer-G-Med emergency medical services spokesperson Kyle van Reenen said paramedics found the motorcyclist with serious injuries.
He said the events that led to the collision are currently unclear.
“The man was treated and stabilised on the scene before he was taken to a nearby hospital for further care,” Van Reenen said.
Van Reenen added that he was not quite sure how many passengers were in the light motor vehicle.
“There were no reports of any injuries from the passengers of the light motor vehicle,” he said.
