Unrest in Olievenhoutbosch still ongoing
Protesters began burning tires on the road in the early hours of Monday morning.
Members of the EFF and Olievenhoutbosch residents are staging a protest on the R55 near Olievenhoutbosch.
According to reports, protesters want to address service delivery issues in the area.
They are also protesting the leadership of Tshwane mayor Randal Williams.
Protesters began burning tyres on the road early in the morning, causing congestion in the area.
TMPD spokesperson Isaac Mahamba said the protest is still ongoing and TMPD will release a statement later today.
