Pretoria West missing persons
"He also has a hearing problem and possibly mental issues."
The Pretoria West SAPS urged the public to be on the lookout for two missing persons believed to have gone missing between early August and October respectively.
The first person is Frankie John Naidoo (64), who resides at 63 Kraai Street, Westpark.
He was last seen on August 12 by his friend, Chetty Nagesh. Naidoo was reported to be wearing a blue, white and yellow Ellesse tracksuit at the time of his disappearance.
Police spokesperson Constable Sibongile Vuma said the case was reported on August 14.
“He cannot speak proper English and his home language is Afrikaans. He also has a hearing problem and possibly mental issues. This is not the first time he has been reported missing. Previously, he was reported missing and later it was found that he had been admitted to Kalafong hospital,” said Vuma.
Nagesh said that Naidoo told him that someone had threatened to shoot him; however, Nagesh does not know who made this alleged threat.
He usually visited Laudium white blocks on Mocks Street.

The second missing person is a 23-year-old woman named Faith Mayahle.
The Zimbabwean national used to work as a nail technician in the Pretoria CBD part-time and was last seen on October 6.
Mayahle was reported missing by her mother.
“Her mother said that they went out one night and as they were walking home on Christoffel Street, the mother stopped to greet someone she recognised. Faith continued to walk back home on her own; but when the mother came home, she wasn’t there,” said Vuma.
The station asked the public to contact the investigating officer, Warrant-Officer Lazarus Mashishi on 061 513 2706 or Faith’s mother, Felicia Mayahle, on 063 454 2676.
