Man dies in motorbike accident
According to witnesses, the biker came up the wrong side of the road and hit the car from the front, and had been flung in the air a few metres.
A motorcyclist was declared dead on the scene and another sustained injuries when a motorbike and a car collided in Pretoria North last night.
BestCare ambulance services attended the scene on Willem Cruywagen and Rachel De Beer streets around 19:40 but the male motorcyclist unfortunately succumbed to his head injuries.
BestCare ambulance services spokesperson Margot van Rooyen said according to witnesses, the biker came up the wrong side of the road and hit the car from the front, and had been flung in the air a few metres.
The woman motorist was stabilised then transported to hospital by Promed.
