One injured during truck collision

A man sustained minor to moderate injuries

A male patient sustained minor to moderate injuries in a collision between a truck and a bakkie along the N4 east/ Rossouw that caused traffic delays for several hours yesterday.

Tshwane EMS spokesperson Charles Mabaso said the team arrived on scene to find a truck lying on its side burning and about 500 litres of diesel spilled.

“The truck carrying chrome and a bakkie with a trailer were involved in the accident.

“The firefighters moved swiftly to extinguish the fire and contain the diesel spillage.”

Mabaso added that one man was injured during the collision and was treated and transported to hospital.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by law enforcement agencies.
