Len Cloete, One year since Muldersdrift shooting, he is as well as can be
Len Cloete's wife, Chantal, opened up about their current situation in a radio interview this morning. It has been a year since the shooting.
Len Cloete, the father of seven, who was shot by police at a lodge in Muldersdrift in November last year, is alive and as well as can be expected.
This was according to his wife, Chantal, who opened up about his situation in a radio interview this morning.
She also recently posted photos and a video of Len on social media to celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary.

One year down the line, Len is doing fine, his wife Chantal said in an interview with JacarandaFM.
The Cloete family, which lives in Pretoria, has learned to take life one day at a time, as she outlined in the interview.
According to Chantal, Len can smile, respond and even rub her back.
She described his condition as stable and said he was paralysed on his left side but could understand and respond to people, although he still could not speak.
Len is still being fed with a tube and is in a wheelchair.
Chantal described their life as settled since there is a strong support structure that underpins the family and also said Len’s friends have stepped up to fulfil the father role for their two-year-old son Esteban.
She also described how thankful she was for the support, including those living with them while physically caring for Len.
The Len-shooting case cannot be actioned further until he regains his ability to speak.
Earlier this year, Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) national spokesperson Lizzy Suping said investigators still have to interview Len.
“We need to allow the investigation process to take its course. Ipid has to interview the victim. Unfortunately, he is unwell at the moment.”
