Christmas decorations are starting to go up and 2023 is closer than ever. As we prepare for a new year and the stresses of the festive season, this mid-month weekend is the perfect time for a pick-me-up. Check out these Pretoria events:
Keeping Up – Schalk Bezuidenhout, November 17 and 18

Schalk Bezuidenhout is set to tickle Pretoria’s funny-bone with his fifth not-to-miss one-man show. He used to be woke AF, the liberal guy at the braai. But it’s happening more and more that Schalk has to count his words. In this ever-changing world and society, he is just trying to keep up.
The show runs from 19:00 on both nights at the Atterbury Theatre.
The Sip ’n Swop, November 19

Ever seen someone wearing an item of clothing and thought, “I would look so much better in that”? Well at this sustainable upcycling event you can swop till you drop – while enjoying some wine (included in the ticket price).
The event takes place at Railways Café from 12:00-15:00 and bookings are essential, contact 071 260 5007 to book your spot.
Gin and Macaron tasting, November 19

Cape Saint Blaize Gin, unique flavoured macarons, a night out – what more do you need? Ruby Red Restaurant presents this tasting event with paired macron and drink combos.
