Flying squad recovers three stolen vehicles
A VW worth R100 000 was taken along with the owners who were dropped at Stinkwater. The car was recovered in Winterveldt through car tracking.

Tshwane flying squad members recovered three stolen vehicles worth R1 009 000 in Soshanguve, Ga-Rankuwa and Mabopane this week.
According to the squad spokesperson Sergeant Alfred Legodi one of the cars was taken along with the owners during a house robbery in Ga-Rankuwa.
He added the owner opened the case at Temba police and was transferred to Ga-Rankuwa police.
“A VW worth R100 000 was taken along with the owners who were dropped at Stinkwater. The car was recovered in Winterveldt through car tracking,” he said.
He added that fingerprint experts took fingerprints on the scene.
The second car was a white Toyota Hilux which was stolen in Brooklyn and fitted with false registration number JY57GT GP.
He said it was recovered in Soshanguve ext. 19.
The car is worth R800 000.
The third vehicle was a Ford Ranger with an estimated value of R109 000, which had been hijacked in Mabopane.
“The car was recovered in Mabopane Block B and was taken to the Vehicle Crime Investigation Unit,” he said.
No arrests have been made as yet as police are still investigating.
