Flying squad arrests drug dealers and recovers hijacked vehicles
The dealers were arrested in an apartment complex in Sunnyside, central Pretoria after the Flying Squad received a tip-off.

During its latest assortment of vehicle recoveries this past weekend, the Tshwane flying squad managed to apprehend two drug dealers and an illegal immigrant.
The dealers were arrested in an apartment complex in Sunnyside, central Pretoria after the squad received a tip-off that drug dealers were operating in the building.
“Upon arrival at approximately 11:00, December 4, our members arrested three male suspects, aged between 30 and 47,” said communications officer Sergeant Legodi.
He said the squad recovered dagga, CAT and crystal meth and the trio would face a charge of illegal drug possession and drug dealing.
They were taken to the Sunnyside police station for further processing.
A Toyota Etios, valued at R78 000 and reported stolen in Potchefstroom, was recovered in central Pretoria in a parking bay on the corner of Struben and Thabo Sehume streets.

Central SAPS processed the scene and the vehicle was later transported to Pretoria West’s vehicle crime investigation unit (VCIU).
A white Toyota Prado, valued at R890 000 was recovered in Atteridgeville on Maunde Street, Pretoria West after it had been stolen from Brooklyn mall.

The vehicle was recovered through the use of Cartrack and transported to the Pretoria West pound for further investigation.
A white Toyota Tazz, valued at R60 000 which had been reported hijacked, was recovered in Lotus Gardens, Pretoria West, in Mohwelere Street.
A further two Toyota Tazzes, one silver (valued at R25 000), and one red (valued at R20 000) were impounded on suspicion that they displayed false registration plates.


Yet another Toyota Etios, valued at R150 000 was recovered in Atteridgeville, Moroe Street. It had been reported hijacked in Akasia.
Police have urged the public to come forward with any information that will lead to the arrest of the perpetrators.
All suspects are expected to appear in court in due course.
