Bus, minibus collide in Rosslyn leaving several injured

Eight people were transported to various local hospitals following the accident on Thursday morning.

Eight persons were transported to various medical facilities following a collision between a bus and a minibus taxi on Thursday morning on Doreen Road, Rosslyn.

Tshwane emergency services spokesperson Charles Mabaso said the collision was reported at around 08:51.

The exact circumstances surrounding the accident are unclear at this stage.

“The persons were transported to various hospitals which included Dr George Mukhari hospital, KT Motubatse clinic and 1 Military hospital.

“Four females and three males were treated for minor to moderate injuries. Two males were treated for moderate to serious injuries.”

Mabaso added that the cause of the accident is currently under police investigation.
