Reservoir maintenance means no water for parts of Centurion
“The reservoir will be filled to maximum capacity prior to the shutdown, however, supply of water may be interrupted during this period. Residents are therefore urged to use water sparingly.”

Areas supplied water by the Mnandi reservoir may be without water for more than 11 hours on Thursday, Tshwane metro has announced.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the metro said supplier Rand Water planned an emergency upgrade to a bulk meter that supplies the reservoir.
“The metro has been notified by Rand Water about an urgent need to replace and upgrade a bulk water meter that supplies the reservoir in Tshwane,” the statement read.
The metro said the reservoir will be filled to the brim before the maintenance.
“The reservoir will be filled to maximum capacity prior to the shutdown, however, supply of water may be interrupted during this period. Residents are therefore urged to use water sparingly.”
A day later, the metro planned its own 30-hour water shutdown from Friday, February 24 at 03:00 until February 25 at 09:00 to connect a water pipe at Vlakfontein reservoir.
