Spoilt for choice at the Lavender Kontrei market, beer fest.

Sunshine, horses and beer made for a fun-filled weekend.

Hundreds of Pretoria residents were welcomed to the lush grounds of the Lavender Kontrei market for a fun sun-filled Beer Festival on Saturday.

Located in Pretoria North, the family-friendly market featured live entertainment by Velvet Sounds Oompah band and Moto Knives Club with multiple stalls on display.

Guests enjoyed tasting multiple craft beers on sale under the trees. The festival offers multiple spaces for seating.

“Enjoying the day under a stretch tent on one of the fields at the festival. It’s always nice being outdoors in the sun surrounded by family,” said Bev Terry.

Guests were spoiled for choice at the food area under the gazebo. The offerings were diverse in taste ranging from traditional cuisine to international flavours.
