The Son (16 LV) stars Hugh Jackman as Peter, whose hectic life gets further upended when his ex-wife (Laura Dern) tells him their teenage son, Nicholas, is deeply troubled. He soon tries to take care of Nicholas the same way he would have wanted his own father to have taken care of him. The film also stars Anthony Hopkins, reprising his award-winning role from The Father.

After a catastrophic crash on an unknown planet, pilot Mills (Adam Driver) quickly discovers he’s actually stranded on Earth — 65 million years ago.
