Wierdabrug police are investigating an armed robbery during which a family living in Centurion was robbed of items to the value of R171 000.
“Three armed men entered the home of a Centurion resident around 12:45 on Tuesday,” said police spokesperson Constable Lwando Ntlebi.

“The men entered the premises carrying two firearms,” he said.
“The man was forced to the bedroom by two of the men while the third stayed behind with the man’s wife and grandmother.
“The men then opened the safe and emptied its contents. This included jewellery, cellphones and a laptop all to the value of R171 000.”
