Legends inspire future soccer stars
Skosana says they organise the games and bring soccer legends to push young and up-and-coming players.
The Muckleneuk sports ground in Mamelodi was the place to be from morning till late on Saturday, as former soccer legends touched down to encourage the stars of the future.
Doctor Khumalo, Simphiwe Tshabalala, Edward Motale, Themba Mnguni, Lucky Lekgwathi, Thulasizwe Mbuyani and Portia Modise.
were taking part in the Fellowship games, for a Saturday chill-out aimed at inspiring youngsters.
Dlalisa Moyeni football club was the host, playing against RockFVS, VM Galaxy and No Fear Boys in the under 13s, 17s and 19s.

He said as role models, the legends would inspire and encourage young boys to focus on their football careers.
“The day was filled with fun and it was interesting to watch legends play the game of soccer. The boys were inspired as well, the mood, atmosphere was allowing and we’ll definitely do more of these fellowship games in the future.”
Skosana said the games will be held once every six months.
The youngsters had the opportunity to mingle with them the legendary players.
Former Banyana Banyana player Modise encouraged them to focus on sport and stay away from the streets. “Big up to the organisers – this means a lot to the youngsters,” she said.
“We always cry about development in the townships, but the Fellowship games show there are people who have invested to make sure youngsters make it to professional level,” added Modise.
