The 21-year-old, from the Phomolong area in Mamelodi East, was last seen by his brother at his tuckshop.

His brother said the last time he saw him was when he was on his way to work on August 30, when he passed at his brother’s mini-tuckshop.
“Later that day, the complainant came back from work and found that the victim was not back home, but [he] assumed that he was still at his mini tuckshop,” said Khulong.
The next morning, on Sunday, his brother realised Mahlahane had not slept at home. When he contacted his friends and other relatives, no one knew where he was.
The victim was last seen wearing a pink sweater, blue Eskom overalls and black boots.
