The fact that Manale said that the name change is not a matter for Pretorians alone but for the whole country should loudly ring every possible alarm bell.
There are upwards of 30 million or more ANC supporters who don’t give a hoot for the name Pretoria. The ANC now have time to properly campaign nationwide among their multitude of supporters to SMS their approval of a name change.
If they manage to get only 15% of their supporters to SMS for them, they will win, because they will still be the majority.
