Good day Rekord Team

I would like to, anonymously, suggest that this patient be transferred to the trauma unit at Tembisa Hospital where he will be referred to the Orthopedic Department. The team operates very well and gets serious ops done as soon as possible. My sincerest apologies, on behalf of my profession. It is jaded, disrespectful and arrogant doctors and nursing staff like these that give the rest of us an unfavorable reputation.

In addition, the patient should name the doctor and nurses who are responsible for this highly unethical behaviour. Lack of resources do dictate whether or not beds are available and the surgery schedules and more serious cases are tended to first. However, it is unacceptable that this patient has not been relieved of pain. It is simply inhumane. The doctor’s warning to the patient not to take pictures is an admission of guilt in itself.

I’m so disappointed in my colleagues. I can only hope that this patient doesn’t back down.

Kind regards
