Dreams of competing like a 'pro' golfer and representing your country at an international golfing championship came true for Pretoria golfer, Pierre Smith when Team South Africa 2 finished in a proud 3rd place out of 26 countries and over 200 golfers at the 19th Amateur World Golfers Championship recently.
Pierre, who also finished 11th in the 0-5 handicap, commented, “This has been a fantastic golfing experience and I would encourage anyone who has not experienced the World Golfers Championship to enter next year.”
