Local law firm, LGR, is embracing the spirit of the 2014 SPAR Women’s Challenge by walking on behalf of the Paul Youngnickel Home. The 2014 SPAR Women’s Challenge theme is ‘My Shoes, Your Shoes’ – a theme that encourages each and every race entrant to put themselves in someone else’s shoes. SPAR challenged every woman in Pretoria to enter the race and to put themselves in another woman’s shoes by walking for someone who cannot and then asked them to share their stories on SPAR’s social media platforms. LGR law firm responded to SPAR’s call to action. LGR Incorporated is a BBBEE compliant, all female, law firm specialising in commercial debt collections and property law. “This year, LGR’s directors are walking in honour of all their employees as well as every woman in our community who makes a positive difference in the lives of others every day,” said Marike Dreyer. The women of LGR will also be walking in honour of their local charity this year – the Paul Youngnickel Home situated in Zwavelpoort, east of Pretoria. Paul Youngnickel is a residential home for approximately 140 adults with mental disabilities. “This exceptional organisation assesses the potential of every individual and strives to help each person in their care to reach their full potential. They selflessly offer the substantial daily care needed by them and LGR is looking forward to stepping up to the challenge this year,” Dreyer said with excitement.
