Sundowns eyeing a double over Chiefs
Sundowns and Chiefs clash at the FNB stadium this Saturday.
It’s all systems go on Saturday as Kaizer Chiefs host Mamelodi Sundowns at the FNB stadium on Saturday evening.
The last time Downs played a Soweto team, they scored six against Orlando Pirates at Loftus nearly a month ago.
With both teams eyeing the title, Saturday’s match promises to be a spectacular encounter.

A win for Chiefs will move them five points above Masundowana while victory for the away side could see them jump to third place on the log with a massive four games in hand.
Having rested their main players over the international break, Chiefs will probably be the fresher of the two sides.
The rejuvenated players like Siphiwe Tshabalala and Benard Parker are not part of the national set up and that extra week of rest could prove vital in Saturday’s clash.
Chiefs had three defenders called for the national team, but due to their normal schedule compared to their opposition, they’ll be in a better shape.
Downs on the other hand are contesting in three different tournaments and have played more games in all competitions than any other SA team this season.
Fatigue might kick in for some players given the magnitude and intensity of the game.
The last time the two side met was back in November last year when the Pretoria side claimed a 2-1 victory in Loftus.
Tebogo Langerman and Sibusiso Vilakazi were on target that day.
Chiefs have lost three of their last four matches including a 3-1 hammering in the 2015 Telkom Knockout final.
Khama Billiat will make his return on Saturday against Amakhosi.

The tricky forward has been instrumental in Downs dominance in Africa, and things can turn bad for the home side if they decide to give him space to play.
In Billiat’s absence, Downs star player Percy Tau has taken the responsibilities to drive the Pretoria side forward. He been on form for both club and country.
The 22-year-old Pretoria based player scored on his Bafana debut in Saturday’s match against Guinea-Bissau.
“I’m very happy with my debut, especially because the team won the match at the end of the day.” said Tau after the game.
“The opponents were strong, especially in the second half and I feel me and my teammates did enough to deserve a win. We will build on from this performance and hopefully get better.”
Bafana won 3-1 against Guinea Bissau in an international friendly match, thanks to goals by Tau, Kermit Erasmus and Andile Jali.
On Tuesday, Tau was named man of the match in Bafana’s 0-0 draw with Angola.
Saturday’s game will kick-off at 20:15.
