Amatuks shift their focus to Pirates
UP is hard at work preparing for their quarter-final encounter against the Buccaneers.

The UP team is already preparing for their quarter-final encounter against MultiChoice Diski group B winners Orlando Pirates. Amatuks booked their quarter-final place when they thrashed Kaizer Chiefs 3-1 last October to secure fourth place in group A. Both Tuks and Chiefs finished level on 11 points, but the University students had a better goal difference.
Tuks spokesperson Pearl Mosoane said the players for both the first team and reserve team, which plays in the MultiChoice Diski League, resumed training this week. Tuks will take on the Buccaneers, who topped group B with 15 points in the second quarter-final encounter. The match will take place at the Princess Magogo stadium on 31 January. Mamelodi Sundowns will take on Polokwane City a day later at the same venue.
