Mamelodi Sundowns battle African giants TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on Saturday in their first leg clash of the CAF Champions league.

The Pretoria team defeated St Michel of Seychelles 4-1 on aggregate in the first round of the competition to book themselves a date with the DRC team.

Sundowns head into this game blooming with confidence after their midweek 5-0 hammering of Polokwane City in the Absa Premier League.

The Brazilians would look to continue the fine form that saw them closing the gab on log leaders Kaizer Chiefs.

The DRC team has won the competition four times and would be hoping to bring back their happy days after losing 3-2 on aggregate to Orlando Pirates in 2013, costing them a spot in the final.

In other CAF Champions league matches, Kaizer Chiefs will take on Moroccan side Raja Casablanca at the Moses Mabhida while rivals Orlando Pirates will take on Revenue Authority in the CAF Confederation Cup at the Orlando Stadium. Both games are on Saturday.
