Downs focusing on grabbing silverware
Sundowns are keeping mum on the comings and goings of the club at the end of the season.

Mamelodi Sundowns are focusing on the current season before they decide who to bring into the team for the next season. Spokesperson Kabelo Mosito said Sundowns have their eyes set on the Confederation of African Football (CAF) champions league, Absa Premier league title and the Nedbank Cup. Everything else will be sorted when the season is over.
There is speculation that Kaizer Chiefs keeper Itumeleng Khune has signed a pre-contract with Mamelodi Sundowns, but nothing big has been confirmed by either Chiefs or Sundowns. All will be known as soon as the season closes. Apparently Khune’s contract is expected to end at the end of the season.
Sundowns already have three keepers in their squad: Dennis Onyango, Kennedy Mweene and Wayne Sandilands. If Khune does join the Pretoria side, it will will be interesting to see how the club deals with four international keepers who have over 500 caps between them.
The Brazilians will return to action on Sunday to take on the Democratic Republic of Congo giants T.P. Mazembe in Lubumbashi, Congo in their second leg of the CAF champions league. Sundowns won the first leg of the league 1-0 at Loftus last month, thanks to a late strike by Khama Billiat.
