Get race-ready for SPAR Women’s Challenge with Bouwer Bosch

Bouwer Bosch is playing his part in supporting this year’s SPAR Woman’s race campaign with his hilarious Frikkie's Fitness videos.

Local comedian and musician Bouwer Bosch is one of the 2015 SPAR Women’s Challenge brand ambassadors and is using his unique brand of comedy to motivate and encourage all the ladies taking part in the race.

As the star of Youtube series Frikkie’s Fitness Bouwer Bosch is playing his part in supporting this year’s race campaign – #SteppingFor – while providing some comedic relief to everyone preparing for the race.

Running amok in SPAR stores across Pretoria, Frikkie helps explain the difference between lunges and lunches, why a good tekkie is like a good friend, how eating right is crucial to being fit and why skipping a training session will make you ‘Stasoft’.

His hilarious take on the race has a more serious side though as he says that after finding out more about the SPAR Women’s Challenge, he felt truly inspired and wanted to be a part it.

“This is the first year that I have been involved in the SPAR Women’s Challenge and so far it has been a great experience,” he said, noting that one if his favourite aspects of the race is the fact that it is a family event.

“The race is actually a great family day. Instead of going to the movies you can take the whole family to walk in the race – it’s definitely cheaper and healthier than going to the movies!”

Check out the Frikkies Fitness series on YouTube under the bouwerbosch Channel. To find out more about the ambassadors visit their social media platforms and keep a look out for new editions of the Rekord in the coming weeks as more will be revealed.

Online and in-store entries to the race are now available. Visit www.sparladiespta.co.za for more information or Like the SPAR Women’s Challenge Facebook page.
