Softball club supports cancer awareness
TuksSoftball first team is playing in pink in October to show their support for cancer patients.
The TuksSoftball Club’s annual breast cancer awareness participation kicked off last weekend with the Tuks 1 softball ladies dressed in pink during a league match in an effort to raise awareness for breast cancer.
“We do it for our friend, Zelda Kutumela, who recently passed”, said TuksSoftball’s manager Jolene Werner.
Werner also said since Kutumela’s passing three years ago, the TuksSoftball club have made an effort to raise awareness for this disease.
TuksSoftball Club will continue this initiative for the whole month of October in collaboration with TuksSport and Tshwane Softball Association.
