The Nedbank athletics club and the Nedbank Green Dream Team have come out in support of the Enoch Skosana Road Race to be held on December 12 at the Pretoria Correctional Services in Kgosi Mampuru Street.

In addition to the 10km race, there is also a 5km fun run (starting at 06:30) and a street mile (starting at 08:30). The main race will also start at 06:30.

Skosana, a former SA representive on the road and on the track has been building this race for a few years and with the support of Nedbank he can now take the race to the next level.

“I have always wanted to build this race in my community, and the support of Nedbank is a big boost for me,” said Skosana, the Nedbank Development Officer.

Runners will be in for a treat, as the marshals and water points staff will include 2015 Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon and Comrades winner, Caroline Woëstman, former Comrades Champions Claude Moshiywa and Ludwick Mamabolo as well Cornelia Joubert, Rutendo Nyahore and new mother Irvette van Zyl. These athletes together with a host of top athletes will encourage the runners on the day.
