What’s in those legendary SPAR race goodie bags this year?
The Goody Bag that participants in this year's SPAR Women's Race will receive is one of the highlights of the event and the reason why many people enter the race.
One of the highlights of participating in the SPAR Women’s Challenge is the very generous goodie bag that the ladies are given once they cross the finish line.
Sophia Matlou, the Sponsorship Assistant for SPAR, is responsible for making sure that each year the goodie bags are packed to brim. She says that many participants have confessed to entering the race just to get their hands on one and are excited to see what the bags contain every year. This is why she has made it her personal mission to secure a record number of goodies for the 2017 Pretoria SPAR Women’s Challenge.
This year’s staggering list of goodie bags contents comes to over 25 separate items. These will include: a 14g bag of SPAR Squillos chips, 4 Take it Easy Vegecaps, a 10ml bottle of Satiskin, 500ml bottle of Oros Lite, a 10ml Ingram’s Skin Doctor, 40g Futurelife porridge, 15ml jar of Ponds Complete Solution, a 20g Jungle Slim Bar, 30g Ouma Muesli Rusks, 200g Allsome long grain parboiled rice, a 25g Vinolia soap bar and a 10ml Superzest energy booster – and that’s just to name half the goodies.
If you want to get your hands on these and the rest of the amazing products packed into this year’s goodie bag, you’ll have to enter this year’s Pretoria SPAR Women’s Challenge.
“Often the value of the items in the bag equates to over R100 which is more than the race entry fee so the event really is value for money. “We invite women from all walks of life and levels of fitness to join the Pretoria SPAR Women’s Challenge, receive our marvellous goodie bags and run side by side thousands of women in vivid coral shirts and peaks on 5 August,” said Sophia.
The 2017 Pretoria SPAR Women’s Challenge takes place on 5 August at SuperSport Park Stadium.
