OppieBol’s Business Golf Challenge at Woodhill Country Club

Golf enthusiasts will soon be able to play on one of Pretoria's best courses while doing their part to help the disabled.

There’s no better sport than golf for bringing persons with disabilities together and, with its winning combination of exercise, sporting skill and social interaction, golf is the perfect tonic for good health and optimal wellbeing.

The OppieBol Foundation is an emerging Non-Profit Organization (NPO) that focuses on the integration of persons with disabilities in society, using sport as a tool.

The foundation have already hosted several successful golf days in the past to support their goals and existing development programs. They believe that physical education and sport form an important part of the educational systems and are key contributors to social, human and intellectual development.

Earlier this year, a golf day was presented with great success at the Pretoria West Golf Club. More than 120 players attended the golf day. The day delivered good and healthy play and was supported by both domestic and international participants.

The foundation’s next golf day is scheduled for 10 August. This golf day will take the format of a Business Golf Challenge at Woodhill Country Club.
