Madiba’s daughters hear of death at premiere
Nelson Mandela's two youngest daughters were at the royal premiere of “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom” in London when their father passed away.

The two youngest daughters of Nelson Mandela were at the royal premiere of ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ in London when their father passed away, the Nelson Mandela Foundation reportedly said on Friday.
The organisation said the daughters received the news of their father’s passing during the screening and that they immediately left the cinema.
The movie, which was released in South Africa last week, is based on Madiba’s life.
Other people attending the premiere were told of the former president’s death as the closing credits rolled.
It is believed that Prince William and his wife, Kate were in the audience at the premiere.
William reportedly said upon leaving the film that it was extremely sad and tragic news.
