Furniture truck robbed in Soshanguve

Three furniture delivery men were robbed of the goods they were about to deliver at a house in Soshanguve, Rietgat police said on Friday.
“The truck carried two plasma televisions, and a home theater,” said police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Lolo Mangena.
He said the men were approached by four men with firearms who ordered them to lie on the ground. “They loaded the two plasma TVs and the home theater into their vehicle and sped off.”
Mangena said robbery cases were rife in the Rietgat area and they appealed to residents to notify the police of any criminal activity in their area.
No arrests have been made.
