The film follows a woman who is an editor from New Yorker Magazine that follows her son to Los Angeles after he drops out of college to surf and find himself, she ends up being the one thrust into the ‘sea of change and self-discovery’.
The film stars Academy Award winner Helen Hunt and Brenton Thwaites, who plays her son.
In this heartfelt comedy, she befriends a limo driver (David Zayas), rediscovers her sexuality with a younger surfing instructor (Luke Wilson) and begins to heal her fractured relationship with her son and herself.
