The original music exalts love as an emotion and is the pinnacle of having worked in the music industry for 35 years. It includes such prolific hits as “Parys in die somer” as well as some fantastic works such as “Meesters van die kuns” and Danies’s most indominable and iconic hit, “Jy is vrou”.
The programme whisks audiences away on a musical journey of ballads, soft rock and light classical music, intertwined with sometimes comical anecdotes of how songs originated- those from Danie’s own pen and older music with which we grew up on and inspired him to write and sing. We can all laugh with Danie, reminisce and get properly nostalgic.
