Police launch manhunt for Baviaanspoort escapees
“The three wanted escapees are Louis Matola, Knowledge Shoka and Fassman Manamela.”
Police launched a manhunt for three “dangerous” escapees from Baviaanspoort correctional services.
Police spokesperson, Captain Kay Makhubele, said the men escaped on Wednesday between 22:00 and 00:00.
“The three wanted escapees are Louis Matola, Knowledge Shoka and Fassman Manamela.”
Louis Matola was sentenced to 13 years for robbery.
Knowledge Shoka was sentenced to 15 years for housebreaking and theft.
Fassman Manamela was sentenced to 25 years for rape.
“Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of the suspects is urged to contact the nearest police station or Crime Stop on 08600-10111,”Makhubele said.
