One dead in truck, taxi collision in the north
The accident happened on the Moloto Road at around 17:40 on Friday.
One person died and another was injured in a taxi and truck accident on the Moloto Road, north of Pretoria, on Friday evening.
According to Medi-Edge Community EMS, the accident happened at around 17:40.
“Unfortunately one of the occupants of the minibus taxi succumbed to their injuries in this accident. Another patient sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital,” a spokesperson said.
Medi-Edge said the driver of the truck was not injured.
