Tell us about your performance in dance competitions
Last year 2019 I joined a dance competition known as SMU Explosive Talent. It was truly an amazing experience to participate in that competition. I have made it to the finals which took place at the State Theatre and I made it to the Top 10 finale. It felt really amazing to get a chance to perform for such a huge crowd.
Do you dance alone or do you have a team?
Currently I work alone, but I have also managed to make partnerships with other people involved in entertainment industry. My aim is go higher and higher.
Would you say that you qualify to be a dance entertainer?
Absolutely. I am a great dancer. And I’d love to get more opportunities to use my talent.

What are the achievements you are most proud of?
Throughout my school career I have managed to get awarded with over 50 certificates and five trophies. The trophies are both for sport and academic achievements. I personally believe that it is because of the hard work I put in all areas and dedication I gave to doing my best in all that I do.
Are you the only one in the family who has received this much?
Yes. I’m like the golden child of my family which is a blessing. Every time I look at these certificates they keep me motivated and encourage me to keep on pushing to do my best. My mom, Monica, happens to be smarter and most of my study skills I get from her. Both my parents have had an influence on my passion for studying and surprisingly they are both still studying to further their studies.
Would you say you were the highest achiever in your school?
I went to General Beyers primary school and Elandspoort high school which are next door to each other and every year I have managed to be the top student in all grades. In primary school, I would always be in the top ten, until I got to high school, I was always the first one. In my matric year (2018) I managed to score five distinctions in life orientation, business studies, life sciences, physical sciences and mathematics.
How do your parents feel about your achievements?
It truly makes them proud to see their son scoring to greater heights. They always try their best to assist me in continuing to achieve more.
What are you studying and why?
I’m currently studying Medicine because I truly feel it’s my purpose in this world to save lives. This has always been something close to my heart and it has always been my dream to become a medical doctor and specialize in the pediatrics field.
What are your other hidden talents that people do not know?
Dancing was a talent I hid for a while but eventually I decided to show it to the world. I have not discovered any other hidden talents.
Any last words you wish to tell young dreamers?
Well, it’s important to always pursue your dreams and never give up until you get what you want. Honestly, things might not go as you plan but never stop pushing and keep trusting God and everything will work out for you.
