Maragon Olympus learner Zoe Engelbrecht, the deputy-head girl of 2022, participated in both Afrikaans and English public speaking and was chosen for the school’s gala evening in both instances.

Engelbrecht is part of the Maragon Arts Centre where she partakes in ballet. Premiere Dance Academy, in collaboration with the Youth Dance Company of Tshwane, will stage the memorable production of the Nutcracker in November at the State Theatre, where she will be seen in action.

In the words of Harvey Fierstein, “art has the power to transform, to illuminate, to educate, inspire and motivate”, and that is what the school aims to achieve in the overall development of learners at Maragon Olympus.
