‘Matriarch of the Malema family’ Koko Sarah dies
The grandmother of Economic Freedom Fighter's leader, Julius Malema, passed away on Saturday morning.
POLOKWANE – In a statement released, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, National spokesperson of the EFF, he confirmed that Koko Sarah Malema passed away this morning at her home in Seshgo outside Polokwane. Her passing comes just week’s after the family buried the daughter of Koko Sarah.

“We send our revolutionary condolences on behalf of the entire Economic Emancipation Movement to our CIC Julius Malema, the entire Malema family, their relatives and friends. The greatest matriarch and pillar of their strength has fallen; the great tree that provided cooling shades of comfort, love and stability has been uprooted, forever, from their lives,” said Ndlozi in the statement.

Ndlozi said the part is in close contact with the family and will update the country on the funeral arrangements.
